People come to Te Anau to walk some of the most famous hiking or tramping tracks in the world, including the Kepler Track, Routbourne Track, Hollyford Track, Dusky Trail and some shorter walks such as Queens Reach. If walking is not your thing then you might enjoy a paddle on Lake Te Anau using a paddle bike, kyak or canoe.

Booking's: I recommend that you book ahead to hire tramping equipment and for all large order's between Nov-Mar it is a must. A non-refundable $50 booking deposit is required per person. This can be paid by sending me your Visa or MasterCard number plus the expiry date & the name on the card for me to debit. You can pay the deposit by Internet Banking:

Hiring: When hiring equipment I require a deposit such as a passport or a signed sales voucher (credit card imprint). We can send gear nationwide (NZ), but prefer pickup's from our shop in Te Anau (the walking capital of the world!) to ensure proper fitting. Also you can take gear away and arrange for it to be sent back to our shop. I can safely store your vehicle or gear at no additional cost.
